CHAPTER 4

Steven from Domino’s Pizza hurried up the steps to ring the doorbell. It yet another windy weekend thunderstorm was threatening, and this was the third time he was dropping off a pizza here this weekend. The last two times had been awkward. Hopefully, this time would be better.

Nope, the same shirtless grey-haired White guy opened the door.

Technically, the guy wasn’t shirtless. He appeared to have a bed sheet tied around his waist and held a riding crop in front of what Steve assumed to be yet another massive erection. Discarded clothing, high-heeled shoes, and masks decorated the space behind him.

“You get faster every time. Hang on.” A mahogany, feminine arm wearing a handcuff passed the man a credit card from behind the door. “Money. Sorry.”

He handed the card to Steve who ignored how the credit card had arrived. Definitely better than the first time he’d dropped off a pizza. Yesterday night, the guy had vainly attempted to hide that his only piece of clothing had been a tube sock behind the pillow. Steve had gotten a view of more ass-crack than he preferred, which was a total party foul.

As soon as he returned the card, that same arm pulled the guy away and shut the door.

Steve rolled his eyes. Why was it always him? Delivering to the endless orgy at Doctor Row by MetroGen was bad enough. The guys from Cuyahoga Combined Fire weren’t much better because there was a lake house with a rotating group of girls, but fortunately the guys remained clothed.

Until yesterday, he’d never thought about what type of guy Judge Thomas went for. Not who he’d have guessed based on the ‘Elect Judge Danielle Thomas’ commercials last year.

Then again, this was the first time he’d ever delivered orgy pizza to her house, and a hard-working woman like her deserved a reward now and then. She’d campaigned her butt off to get elected to her position as a city judge for the West Side.

Speaking of hard-working, he’d better get moving because the police loved ticketing cars in this neighborhood. It would be the last thing he needed. An orgy and a ticket?

The SUV with Colorado plates parked nearby already had two soaked parking tickets. Steve hoped the wind wouldn’t blow them away since they were barely holding on as it was.

His phone beeped with a reminder his next delivery was two doors down. The Fire Chief again?

At least he kept his clothes on and had never let Steve see his girl.

The phone beeped a second time.

Yes. Anesthesia attending one block over needed a pizza too.

Or rather his girl.

She’d been the one ordering the pizza and answering the door lately, and Steve had seen a pair of crutches in the hallway.

Steve was low level jealous of that. She had the sweetest eager smile, and judging by the hickeys she occasionally sported, Anesthesia attending found it quite attractive.

Not his business.

Still, if his list of today’s deliveries was anything to go by, there had to be something in the West Side’s water.
